Ekow Abankwa
Trainee Patent Attorney
Ekow began his training with Forresters in September 2024. He has assisted experienced attorneys on various matters, working with clients within medical manufacturing and domestic appliances, as well as liaising with overseas associates.
Ekow has a background in mechanical engineering, having previously worked in fluid mechanics, solid mechanics and control engineering. He also has a firm understanding of renewable energy technologies, manufacturing and ultrasonics.
Ekow graduated from the University of Bristol in 2024 with an integrated masters in Mechanical Engineering. During his studies, he completed a summer internship at Hoare Lea, a building services company. His individual research project focused on the optimisation of an ultrasonic array for 3D imaging.
He enjoys playing and watching football, playing the piano, reading books and watching films.
